Siphoning
is a manual way of pumping water using a hose and
bucket. You must insert one end of the hose into
the basin well below the water line, and suck water
through the hose until it nearly reaches the end.
When you lower this end into the bucket, gravity
will pull the water through the hose, creating
a vacuum. The bucket must be placed lower than
the fountain basin for this method to work.
After you add fresh water to your fountain or
waterfall, we recommend adding a treatment solution
to maintain healthy water. |
